ERICSSON ICT PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAM PROMOTES YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND EAST AFRICA
Ericsson expands its university program to support building diverse local talent throughout the Middle East and east Africa region for the second year in the cooperation with universities across 15 countries in 2016. Ericsson’s ICT professional foundation program targets large group of students from across the region to help the maximum number benefit from an opportunity to seamlessly transition from Academia to the ICT industry. In Ethiopia, Ericsson has cooperated with Addis Ababa Institute of Technology (AAiT)

Rafiah Ibrahim, Ericsson’s Head of Region Middle East and East Africa said in his part Ericsson is honored to be able to cooperate with esteemed universities across the region to launch again this year, the ICT foundation program. I hope that through this program, Ericsson can prepare the ambitious young students by inspiring their innovative minds and cultivating their capabilities so they grow into outstanding professionals and lead in the Networked Society of the future.
